HushThem Partner Program Terms

Last updated 5 September 2026. These terms apply to everyone accepted into the HushThem Partner Program.

1. Joining

Applications are reviewed by a person and may be declined without a reason being given. Acceptance is personal to you and cannot be transferred. You must be legally able to receive payment in your country.

2. What you earn

• 30% of net revenue from each subscriber who installs through your link, for 12 months from their first payment.
• Net revenue means the price paid, minus the app store's fee and minus tax. It is what actually reaches the account you are paid from, not the headline price.
• Rates rise with tier: 35% at 25 active paid subscribers, 40% at 100. Increases apply going forward, not retroactively.
• Free trials earn nothing until they convert to a paid subscription.

3. How a sale is attributed to you

• Attribution uses the Google Play install referrer carried by your link. Google retains that value for 90 days and it does not change unless the app is reinstalled.
• First touch wins. If someone arrives through two partners' links, the first one recorded keeps the subscriber. This is enforced by our payment provider, which will not overwrite attribution data once set.
• Installs that do not carry a referrer — sideloads, other app stores, someone searching the Play Store by name after seeing your video — cannot be attributed and will not be credited. This is a real limitation of Android and not something either of us can appeal.
• Attribution is final. We do not re-attribute subscribers by hand, in either direction.

4. Getting paid

• Commissions are held 30 days after the payment clears, covering the refund window.
• Balances past the hold are paid monthly, in the first week of the month.
• Minimum payout: ₹500 (UPI) or $25 (PayPal, Wise). Balances below the minimum roll over.
• Transfer fees are deducted from the payout.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. If you are in India and we expect to pay you more than ₹20,000 in a financial year, we will ask for your PAN.
• Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission. If the money has already been paid to you, it is offset against your next payout.

5. Rules

Each of these protects something expensive, and each is grounds for removal from the program.

• No self-referral. Subscriptions bought on your own accounts are void.
• No incentivised installs or reviews. Never offer anything in exchange for a Play Store review. Google Play bans this outright and it puts the HushThem listing at risk.
• No paid search on our brand. Do not bid on “HushThem” or its misspellings.
• No “free”, “cracked”, “mod” or “APK download” framing.
• Disclosure is mandatory. Mark promotional content clearly — #ad or #sponsored, or say it aloud. This is your legal obligation under FTC rules in the US and ASCI rules in India, and we will ask you to fix content that lacks it.
• No spam. No unsolicited email, DMs, or comment-section drops.
• No impersonation. Do not present yourself as HushThem, its developer, or its support.

6. Claims about the app

You may describe only what HushThem actually does. The current list is maintained on the program page and is sent to you when you are accepted. It changes as the app changes, and the version on that page is the one that counts.

7. Your link and dashboard

Your dashboard address contains a private token that acts as your password. Keep it to yourself. Tell us if it leaks and we will issue a new one. Your partner link, by contrast, is meant to be shared publicly — those are two different URLs.

8. Data

We store your name, email, country, the audience description you gave us, and your payout details. Clicks on your link are logged with a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address and browser — never the raw values, and never anything that identifies an individual. We do not sell this or share it with anyone beyond the payment provider needed to pay you.

9. Ending it

• You may leave at any time. Legitimately earned commissions still get paid.
• We may remove any partner at any time. If the removal is not for fraud or a rule breach, commissions already earned are still paid.
• Commissions from fraud, fake installs, or breaches of section 5 are forfeit.
• We may change these terms. Material changes will be emailed to active partners, and rate changes are never applied retroactively.

10. No guarantees

We do not promise any level of earnings, conversion rate, or traffic. HushThem is a small independent app run by one developer, and the program is offered as-is.
