What is HushThem?

You need to understand it before you can explain it.

Most call blockers try to guess which numbers are spam. They use a list of bad numbers that is always out of date, so the calls still get through.

HushThem works the other way around. You make a short list of the people who are allowed to call you — family, work, a few friends. Your phone rings only for them. Everyone else is silenced or the call is ended automatically.

It is an Android app. It needs Android 10 or newer.

How it works, step by step

Seven steps, from applying to money in your account. Each one happens after the one before it.

  1. You apply

Fill in the form at the bottom of this page. It takes two minutes. Tell me where you would share HushThem — your YouTube channel, Instagram, a newsletter, a WhatsApp or Telegram group, a blog.

  2. I read it myself

Not a robot, and not a team — there is no team. I build this app on my own and I read every application. Give me a day or two.

  3. You get your link

If I accept you, I email you a link that belongs only to you. It looks like this:

    …/go.php?p=SARAH7K3A

That code at the end is what tells me the person came from you. The same email also has your dashboard address and the rules about what you can say.

  4. You share the link

Put it in your video description, your newsletter, your post. Add #ad or #sponsored — the law requires you to tell people this is a paid partnership.

Talk about the app honestly. There is a short list further down of things that are true, and things you must never say. Please read it.

  5. Someone taps your link and installs the app

Your link takes them to the Google Play Store. Google installs the app. I never ask anyone to download a file from anywhere else.

Because they came from you, they get a 14-day free trial instead of 7. No card needed. That is a real thing you can promise them, and it is why people click your link instead of just searching for the app.

  6. They pay — and you start earning

When the free trial ends, they can subscribe. The moment they pay, your commission appears in your dashboard.

You can watch everything there: how many people tapped your link, how many installed, how many started the trial, how many paid, and how much you have earned.

  7. You get paid

I wait 30 days first, in case they ask for a refund. After that the money is yours. I pay once a month, straight to your UPI ID if you are in India, or by PayPal or Wise anywhere else.

How much money is this?

Percentages, and what they are a percentage of.

You earn 30% of every payment your people make — and you keep earning from the same person for 12 months, not once.

30%
where everyone starts
35%
at 25 paying subscribers
40%
at 100

That 30% is of net revenue — what reaches me after Google’s store fee and tax, not the price on the screen. Every affiliate programme pays on net; I would rather say so plainly than quote a bigger number I could not actually pay.

Amounts differ by country and by plan, so there is no single figure I could print here that would be true for you. Your dashboard shows the exact amount for every transaction, the moment it happens.

One thing worth knowing: the monthly plan pays you every month, so someone who stays a year is worth more to you than a yearly subscriber. It is the plan to mention if your audience is unsure about committing.

Getting paid

If you are in India

I pay by UPI, straight to your UPI ID — something like yourname@okhdfcbank. Give it to me on the form below.

Before your first real payment I send ₹1 as a test. If your UPI ID has a typo, it costs one rupee to find out instead of five thousand.

You need at least ₹500 before I send a payment. If you earn less than that in a month, it stays in your account and adds to next month.

Everywhere else

PayPal or Wise, whichever is cheaper where you live. Minimum $25. The transfer fee comes out of the payment.

Do not want a bank transfer?

I can pay you in Amazon Pay or Google Play credit instead. Just choose it on the form. Some people prefer this, and that is completely fine.

What you can and cannot say

This is the most important part of this page. Please read it twice.

If you say the app does something it does not do, people install it, get angry, and leave a 1-star review. Those reviews land on my Play Store page, not yours — and I never see the video that caused them. So this list is not a suggestion.

True — say these freely

Never say these — they are not true

The rules

Break these and I have to remove you from the program.

Questions people ask

How many followers do I need?

There is no minimum. A newsletter with 400 engaged readers often does better than a channel with 50,000 people who scroll past. What I care about is whether your audience uses Android and has a reason to want this app.

What if someone hears about the app from me, but searches for it on the Play Store instead of using my link?

Then I cannot pay you for them, and I am sorry. Android gives me no way to connect that person back to you. This is the honest limit of how this works.

It is also why your link matters so much — and why the 14-day trial is worth mentioning. It gives people a reason to tap the link instead of searching.

Does it cost me anything?

No. Nothing to join, nothing to pay, ever.

When exactly do I get paid?

In the first week of each month, for money that is more than 30 days old and adds up to at least ₹500 (or $25). Anything newer or smaller waits for the next month.

What if the person asks for a refund?

That commission is removed. This is why I wait 30 days before paying — so I am not asking for money back from you after you have received it.

Do I need to be a company, or have GST?

No. Individuals are welcome — I am one myself, so this is one individual paying another. If I expect to pay you more than ₹20,000 in a financial year I will ask for your PAN, so the paperwork is in order. That is all.

Can I promote it in a language other than English?

Yes, please do. Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, anything. Just make sure the claims stay true when translated.

Who is behind this app?

Me — one developer, building it alone. There is no company behind HushThem, no support desk and no team: when you email, I am the person who replies.
